My Story
From the clinic to the canvas
I started my career in medicine. Six years of medical school at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University taught me how to diagnose under uncertainty, communicate with empathy, and think in systems — skills that turned out to be directly transferable to product design.
The switch to UX wasn't a rejection of medicine. It was a recognition that I could help more people by designing better digital systems than by treating patients one at a time. Clinical precision, diagnostic thinking, and human empathy — these are the tools I bring to every product I touch.
Today I specialize in AI-native product design. I combine UX research, interaction design, and technical understanding to build products that are both intelligent and human-centered. From AI-powered family apps to developer tools to resume builders — I design for clarity, function, and real human needs.
Philosophy
Diagnose digital friction. Prescribe seamless interactions.
Good design is a diagnosis. You observe the symptoms (user friction), investigate root causes (research), form a hypothesis (design concept), and test the treatment (prototype and validate). This clinical approach cuts through opinion-driven design and anchors decisions in evidence.
I believe AI is not a replacement for human-centered thinking — it's a multiplier. The best AI products don't automate away the human. They amplify human judgment, reduce friction, and make systems that grow smarter with use.

2022
Medical Degree (MD)
Graduated from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Built a foundation in diagnostic thinking, empathy, and systems reasoning.
2024
UX Transition
Completed Yale psychology coursework. Began formal transition into UX design with focus on human-centered product thinking.
